FAQ
Q: How do I book a session?
A: Just fill out the contact form and tell me what type of session you’re dreaming up! From there, I’ll send over available dates, package details, and your booking link. A signed contract and retainer are required to lock in your date.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
The sooner, the better — especially for fall and golden hour sessions or weekends!!!
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, a non-refundable retainer is due at booking to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due by the day of your shoot.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: I always keep an eye on the weather and will touch base with you 24 hours before your session. If it looks like a washout, we’ll reschedule for the soonest date that works for both of us.
Q: How long do sessions usually last?
A: Most sessions run about 45 minutes to an hour long enough to get a mix of candids and posed moments without anyone feeling rushed.
Q: My kids are wild — is that okay?
A: 100% yes. I’m a mom too! The wilder, the better! We’ll let them play, explore, and have fun. Some of the most beautiful photos come from those in-between moments.
Q: How many images will we get?
A: I don’t cap the number of edited images. You’ll receive every photo that meets my quality standards, all professionally edited and delivered in an online gallery.
Q: How long until we receive our gallery?
A: Sneak peeks go out within 24-48 hours (because I can never wait either!) and full galleries are typically delivered within 3–4 weeks.
Q: Do you travel for weddings?
A: Absolutely! I’m based in North Carolina but love traveling for love stories especially mountain and coastal weddings. Travel fees may apply depending on distance.
Q: Do you offer video too?
A: Yes! My partner, Collin, is a videographer, and we offer photo + video bundles so you can capture your day from every angle.
Q: Do you offer mini sessions?
A: I host seasonal mini sessions a few times a year. Keep an eye on my Instagram or sign up for my email list to snag a spot when they go live!
Q: What is your payment policy?
A: A non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to hold your session date. The remaining balance (for all regular sessions) is due one week before your session date. Wedding payment schedules are handled separately and outlined in your wedding contract.
If you choose to pay in full at the time of booking and something unexpected comes up, your session can absolutely be rescheduled to a new date. Your payment will simply transfer to that new session. All payments are non-refundable for any reason.
